How to disable Windows updates in Windows 10 Creators Update [Guide]

Most of our PC users are gonna experience a brand new edition of Windows 10 known as Windows 

10 Creators update on April 11,2017. Though this update has some change in UI with the addition 

of new apps and features the thing that hurts, is its automatic updates. even though there was an

option included to pause windows updates temporarily for a certain period of time, most of us want

to disable the update completely for some reasons like shortage in bandwidth, low disk space,etc,

So in this post i'm gonna guide you to disable windows 10 automatic updates in windows 10 creators 

update 2017.

So, what you need ?

You don't need any additional tools, just follow the steps shown below.

How to prevent automatic updates in Windows 10 Creators update.

1) Logon to Your Windows PC.

2) Press Windows (logo) and R Keys of your keyboard.

You will get run command, on that type services.msc

3) Hit enter key of your keyboard or select OK.

4) The above step will open services window on your system.

5) Scroll down, till you find the option "Windows Update"

6) Double click / Single Click on it, so that it pops out a new window "Windows update Properties".

When you looked at the description part, you can see what that service is doing on your PC..

Enables the detection, download, and installation of updates for Windows and other programs. If this service is disabled, users of this computer will not be able to use Windows Update or its automatic updating feature, and programs will not be able to use the Windows Update Agent (WUA) API.

7) Since, it says if this service is disabled, we will not be able to use windows auto updating feature, 

disabling this windows update service will automatically turn off automatic updates in our windows 

10 creators update.

So,let's disable this..

8) Look for the option "Start Up type" (on the windows update properties window), on the right hand 

side there will be a option to change it, click on it and select disabled.

9) Click on Apply

10) Click On OK,

11) Close the window ad restart your PC

That's it..

It will prevent your windows 10 creators update build from auto installing windows updates.
